Vegan cookbook-Loved it!
I have been researching books on Amazon, scouring our local library and seeking out all things vegan. We found the most gorgeous cookbook called, “Vegan Fusion World Cuisine.” The recipes are from the Blossoming Lotus Cafe on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. I keep telling Sandy that in order to be relevant and knowledgeable, we need to go there and review the place but she asked me to start the review from here.
The book is packed with sensuous photos of food, inspiring quotes and a riveting forward by Dr. Jane Goodall. I am sharing this book before I have even attempted to create any of the recipes because it has so much information in it. I would be remiss if I did not share it immediately.
The book shares general principles of veganism, transitional information and enough statistics to either excite or scare the hell out of you. The back of the book has an ingredient glossary which I have found helpful. I can tell you with certainty, I have never purchased Dulse, but am looking forward to it. The pages are bursting with colorful fruits, vegetables and exuberant faces of cruelty free, vegan superstars. It made me feel hopeful, excited and proud to have checked such a magnificent book out of my public library.
So, I thought you may want to snag one for yourself. That way, we can try the recipes together. Sandy and I will be whipping up some Vegan Fusion World Cuisine this weekend. That sounds much sexier than making dinner doesn’t it!!
Have a great Day!
