5/4 Changing the World One Meal at a Time
It occurred to me that now would be a great time for a pep rally. I believe that small steps in the right direction undeniably create sustainable change. Compassionate living is not an all or nothing concept. It isn’t like…either you are for animals or against them…for the earth, or willing to watch it be destroyed. Lots of people inching forward in a collective way create change. It is that simple and that exciting.
It is my hope that hearing about and reading about the 30 day vegan challenge will ignite a curiosity and passion within you to try something new. Allow yourself the opportunity to enjoy an entirely meatless day or week or month. Try almond milk in your cereal and who knows…you may fall in love with it. There…you have affected change without even breaking a sweat.
If we were all willing to substitute one thing in our daily or weekly routine with something that was animal product free, a difference would be made.
With enthusiasm and encouragement I invite you to join us.
If you are a lover of all things meaty, but are willing to try a meatless meal or a new to you product that is earth friendly, we want to hear form you.
If you have been considering the switch to a vegetarian diet but need some support and a cheering section…we want to hear form you.
If you are already veg and are curious and scared to death to make the switch to vegan (so are we) and we would like to hear from you!
Sandy and I are taking on the 30 day vegan challenge because it is where we are at in our journey. Join us wherever you are on yours. If you are at the beginning, than I will share what I know and look forward to learning even more from you. We can walk it together, laughing, learning and affecting change along the way.
Lets try together.
Lets allow ourselves the intoxicating feeling of knowing we made a difference. Not in the future or on the weekend when we have more time or after our kids are out of school….today. We deserve it right now.
Together we are changing the world one meal at a time. I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Everything is more fun with friends.
