1/29 Its A Vegan Touchdown
Whether you are a fan of the game or just a proponent of the party, Super Bowl Sunday can be a fun afternoon with friends.
If you are joining in a party, preparing for your own bash or hunkering down in the comfort of your own living room, I’ve got a great appetizer to wow your people, or to nibble on all by yourself.
It’s a no way is this vegan cheese tray that features an array of Sheese varieties. I first shared about these wonderful vegan cheeses in this Exploits post on 12/2 where we sampled their delicious Gouda. Of the many cheese alternatives we have tasted, Sheese continues to blow my mind. It has the most amazing texture and flavor. I think the true test of a soy cheese is if it can be enjoyed naked, sliced right from the block and eaten on a cracker. You can’t hide from that….there it is…either it is good or it isn’t.
Sheese from Bute Island Foods makes the most beautiful cheese tray and I think that is magnificent. This feels legendary to me like the creation of the wheel for vegans. Everything has now changed, we have our cheese tray.
So lets all use Super Bowl Sunday as an opportunity to introduce our friends to compassionate game day cuisine. Who needs a platter piled high with dairy cheese when you can indulge in a platter brimming with greatness? Compassion is always in good taste.
Have a delicious weekend.
Sheese cheeses featured on this platter include Gouda, Smoked Cheddar and Medium Cheddar. In the US, Sheese is distributed by Black Duck Imports.
