4/12 Gingerly
The night before last a friend came over for dinner. She brought the most unbelievable bottle of sparkling water with her. It looked like something you would consume if you were having dinner with Portia and Ellen. The flavor was ginger lemon peel and it really blew my mind. The next day I looked for it online, searching for it like you would your keys on a morning you are late for work…think urgency. I found out that our guest was indeed incredibly generous because this artisan sparkling water is very expensive.
So, last night as I was making dinner I began to experiment and found the exact combination to replicate my new obsession, for a fraction of the cost. Frugality is the mother of invention.
I used an inexpensive bottle of lemon lime sparkling water and Ginger Juice from The Ginger People. This liquid gold is organic ginger juice that can be added to salad dressings, stirfry and evidently sparkling water to make the most refreshing beverage you have ever experienced.

Ingredients for two
16 oz Lemon lime no sugar or sodium added sparkling water (This will also be amazing with flavor of your choice)
1 tsp Ginger juice (more or less to taste)
Make It Happen
Stir ingredients gently and serve over lots of ice and some frozen raspberries for a magnificent twist.
The 5 oz bottle of ginger juice is only $4.99 and can be added to so many things that I made it a staple in our new vegan kitchen like Liquid Aminos and Nooch. (nutritional yeast)
I think you are going to be smitten with this naturally sugar free, refreshing libation. New Summer drink of choice.
