6/3 Morning Rounds
The other day I found a new-to-me package of breakfast pitas called Morning Rounds by the Ozery Bakery in Toronto. According to the Ozery site, “… our business is based upon this simple foundation: Our bodies deserve the best possible fuel. And our commitment to quality and service is at the core of our daily efforts.” I really like that and you can taste the love in their bread.
The Morning Rounds Museli Buns are all natural multi-grain buns packed with mixed grains, sweet apples, raisins, sunflower seeds and flax seeds. They are toastable, portable and magnificent. They are low in sodium, cholesterol free and flavor full. I toasted mine, slathered it with almond butter, then topped it with crisp apple slices for an open face snack. It made a fantastic post run energy boost.
This is the perfect on-the-go nibble or quickie breakfast. The Ozery site helps you find their products in a store near you with a zip ccde search. Now that you know what they look like you will know to pick them up when you see them. Yum. They were in fact so yummy, that photos of them with the almond butter slathered on them with apple slices are curiously missing from the post. I ate ’em.
Have a delicious day.
Additional Morning Rounds info pulled from the Ozery site.
