12/17 You’re Nuts
Snacking is addictive…healthful snacking is like volunteering…good for everyone involved. Sahale snacks have stolen my heart (turned me into an addict, see this earlier Post). They have a new nut blend that I wanted to share. Imagine if you will, pecans, cherries, walnuts and apples encrusted in maple and scented with cinnamon. They are crunchy, tart and quietly sweet. They are currently available in 15 oz bags…slightly big enough for my midday snack, but possibly big enough for you to share at your next gathering of friends you really, really like. This poor bag did not stand a chance in our house. I opened it and the next thing I new I was writing about an empty bag.
Sahale products begin with carefully considered organic ingredients that are used to create exceptional snacks without added fats or preservatives. They are able to produce artisan quality, portable snacks that are readily available. Thank you Sahale for making it so easy to be kind to my insides and my taste buds.
The Maple Pecans would be magnificent on salads, cobblers, Basamati rice, brussel sprouts…..just about anything that could benefit from a zing and a crunch. The truth is, we ate all 15oz right from the bag in handfuls. They are amazing and I can’t wait for you to try them. Because they are so new, they are currently available only in the large bags at Amazon.com and Costco. The Amazon price of $32.69 is for two biggie big (15oz) bags. The smaller bags will be avail in most retail grocery stores nationwide beginning in early 2012.
There is still plenty of time for your Amazon order to arrive for the festivities and won’t you be the holiday hero.
Have a delicious day.
