3/3 21 Day Vegan Kick-Start Program from PCRM
While doing some surfing on the web last night, I found an interesting idea that is cool enough to share with you on Exploits. Dr. Neil Barnard and the team at PCRM, (Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine), are preparing to launch a 21 day program to help kick-start a vegan lifestyle for anyone who wants to give a try. This promises to be a great avenue for someone seeking daily guidance on how to incorporate going vegan.
It is done entirely online, offers daily tips from registered dietitians, a 21 day meal plan, celebrity tips, a restaurant guide with interactive map, weekly motivational video messages from Dr. Barnard and a Community Forum to offer support between those participating in the program. AND it’s FREE. Seriously, all you have to do is register online here, PCRM Kick-Start. What a great idea to share with your loved ones, follow along for ourselves as a refresher and learn more from others too. The program starts on April 2nd, so there is plenty of time to tell those you know and love about this resource if they are interested in learning more about eating a plant-based diet.
Sandy signed up so we can follow along and see what cool ideas we can learn, try some new recipes of course and to share the progress and great tips on Exploits. Besides, we love to learn from others because it helps give a new perspective on something that you are already doing. I really believe PCRM is a great resource because they encourage following a plant-based diet from a health perspective as offered from physicians. Sometimes this extra level of expertise is a comfort when considering proper nutritional balance and a clear understanding of the scientific virtues of eating plant-based.
So, if you are curious or want to tell others about the program, it begins April 2nd and there is plenty of time to give it consideration as a family and discuss how it can help move toward a healthier lifestyle.
