8/31 Vegan Road Trip Snacks
In honor of those about to embark on road trips celebrating Labor Day, I wanted to share two of my new favorite vegan road trip snacks. They are the perfect companion for the camp ground, college or work bound traveler.
Thai Lemon Curry Cashews, Almonds and Coconut by Living Intentions.
Living Intentions has created a line of scintilating, spiced raw and sprouted nut blends called Gone Nuts. With concoctions like Mesquite Pod Maple Walnuts and Rosemary Garlic Pistachios and Almonds, there is a bag made for everyone’s adventuresome palates.
On our way up north, Sandy, our niece Isabella and myself tried our first bag of Thai Lemon Curry Cashews, Almonds and Coconut. I thought Sandy might lurch the KIA into oncoming traffic trying to get to the bag in my hands. They were that good. They are an absolute bounty of flavor. Stronger, braver and more exciting than even the package suggests.
We could not stop talking about them, which made them the perfect road trip snack. They are sprouted, raw and made with loving intention, which makes them the perfect love yourself and eat food that loves you back road trip snack. You may purchase them online for $5.69 a bag here, or you may also find them at your local health food store. I purchased my bag at Whole Foods. They are worth looking for.
Ginger Snaps Super Cookies by go raw.
Go raw creates Super Cookies, Super Chips, and granola bars from organic, sprouted and simple ingredients. Their products are hand crafted from wheat, gluten and nut free ingredients.
On our road trip we tried the Ginger Snaps Super Cookies. Created using only coconut, sesame seeds, dates and ginger powder….I thoroughly appreciate a company that has enough bravado and pride to announce their ingredients on the front of the package in lettering nearly as large as their name. The bite size snacks are spicy and audacious with a lively crunch. You may purchase your own bag of Super Cookies for $5.49 here or check out their store locator to purchase a bag near you.
Health, happy travels and have a delicious holiday weekend with these vegan road trip snacks.
