12/14 Gifting Vegan Biscotti
Yesterday I baked and packaged two flavors of vegan biscotti for friends and colleagues. It is a gift I am proud to share. Despite their sophisticated appearance, biscotti are relatively easy to make and perfect for veganizing.
I chose bright flavors with crunchy nut counterparts, but feel free to try any combo you think would be tasty. Let me know what you love so I can try it too. I think you will be delighted by how elegant they turn out. You can make one dough, then halve it and flavor both halves… or simply make one biggie batch of the same flavor.
I made Pistachio Lemon and Orange Almond, which were both loved by their recipients.
There is something unique and loving about an edible gift. To me it says,” I care about you and I want to bake for you. I want to feed you because you matter to me” Food is a very special and intimate way to express yourself. Here is the link to the biscotti recipe. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
Have a delicious day.
