2/24 Taking Time To Celebrate

Today is my 39th birthday and I am taking the day to celebrate. For me, my birthday is a day to reflect, rejoice and to overflow with gratitude and joy for the exciting year to come.

On this day last year I would have never, ever believed that I would be ushering in a new birth year as a vegan, culinary instructor and food loving blog writer. I am enjoying this soulful, edible, transformational journey each and every day and I love it even more that you are sharing in it with me. Thank you for reading and thank you for commenting, thank you for being a part of this Exploits community. Together we are changing the world one meal at a time and I think that is fantastic.

    Thank you Julie. July is a beautiful month for a birthday celebration. I have found that the one benefit to having a February birthday in Michigan is that everyone is bored to tears and would love nothing more than to celebrate for you and with you.

    Thank you Amanda. It may have been the best one yet. Vegan pastries, vegan pizza and presents galore from people I love. Sandy and I did glass fusing for the fist time and designed a platter. It will be ready in two weeks (has to be fired) and I will share it when we get t back. It was so fun.
